If data processing is based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) of the DSGVO, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this data protection declaration. In the event of infringements of the DSGVO, the persons concerned have a right of appeal to a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place where the alleged infringement is alleged. SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

- If the processing of your personal data was / is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.

The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for technically error-free and optimized provision of his services. As far as other cookies (e.g. cookies for the analysis of your surfing behaviour) are stored, these will be treated separately in this data protection declaration.

- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used

Gillenkirch Engineering and Sales GmbH processes the following data about you to process your request, provided you provide it in the contact form / order form for spare parts / request documentation: Title, first name, surname, e-mail, street, postcode, city, telephone number and the content of your request. We will pass on your personal data to recipients if this is necessary to fulfil your request. The legal basis for processing your personal data depends on your request and may arise from a contract with you (Art. 6 (1) (b) DSGVO), your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO) or on the basis of a balance of interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO) of our legitimate interest in providing you with a good service – if the processing is based on your consent – until you withdraw your consent or until your objection thereto or for the purpose of your request until it has been dealt with. The processing of your request is not possible without providing the data required to contact you and to understand and process your request. All other information is voluntary.
If we process your personal data on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO), you can revoke this at any time with effect for the future. If we process your personal data on the basis of a balance of interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO), you can object to the processing at any time with future effect.
Data protection for applications and in the application process
The controller collects and processes the personal data of applicants for the purpose of processing the application procedure. This is done on the basis of § 26 Paragraph 1 BDSG. Processing may also be carried out electronically. This is particularly the case if an applicant sends corresponding application documents to the controller by electronic means, for example by e-mail or via a web form on the website. If the controller concludes an employment contract with an applicant, the data transmitted shall be stored and transferred to the personnel file for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in compliance with the statutory provisions. If the controller does not conclude an employment contract with the applicant, the application documents shall be deleted two months after notification of the decision of refusal, provided that deletion is not contrary to any other legitimate interests of the controller. Other legitimate interest in this sense is, for example, a burden of proof in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).
Inquiry by e-mail, telephone or fax
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your inquiry including all personal data (name, inquiry) resulting from it will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
These data are processed on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 letter b DSGVO if your request is connected with the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO) and/or on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO), as we have a legitimate interest in the effective processing of requests addressed to us.
The data you send us via contact requests will remain with us until you request us to delete them, until you revoke your consent to their storage or until the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
Processing of data (customer and contract data)
We collect, process and use personal data only to the extent necessary for the establishment, content design or change of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data about the use of our Internet pages (usage data) only to the extent necessary to enable or invoice the user for the use of the service.
The collected customer data will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.
