Modern potato line
Wilhelm Weyers is a loyal customer for over 30 years and invested at regular intervals in new machines from Gillenkirch. 2015 the Krebbers Holding invest in a new building for a new high-performance, custom-made installation for processing of dry potatoes.
The total capacity of the plant amounts to 15.0 to 20.0 tons per hour and divided into two main areas and connected by high-quality conveyor belts. The first part of the plant is designed for receiving and processing of potatoes. The product is fed by a generous receiving conveyor in the line, passes through the dry polishing machine for processing the product and then the faulty products are sorted out manually on a sorting table. The intelligent concept of the feed belts allows the various possibilities for product handling. Optionally the product can be directly fed to the packing area or truck loading or temporarily stores in the six bunkers. The second part of the plant, the packing area, consists of a second sorting table, a computer Newtec weigher for accurate weighing the desired serving sizes and two horizontal sealing machines for packaging into net bags with a net weight of 2.5 kg to 25.0 kg. The customer has the choice to pack the potatoes manually in crates or automatically on pallets.
We thank Wilhelm Weyers and his doughter Julia Krebbers for the job and wish the company long-term success with the new investement.
