The Newtec Celox XT for carrots is the latest addition to the Danish company’s already impressive product catalogue for weighing and sorting machines. The machine not only sorts carrots by length and diameter with an accuracy of +/- 1 mm, as well as an accuracy of 5% for volume, but can also sort out C-shaped, S-shaped and broken carrots. In addition, it can sort out carrots where the upper part of the root is still green or sun damaged, carrots with black spots, growth cracks, signs of rot, missing colour pigments or scars.
